Ibra revels in trophy-winning exploits – but did he take a dig at Arsenal?

Zlatan Ibrahimovic gloated that he has already won half of what some clubs have won in 10 years after delivering the EFL Cup for Manchester United.

Ibrahimovic scored twice including the 87th-minute winner to seal a 3-2 win for United over Southampton in a thrilling Wembley final on Sunday.

It marks the Swede s first major trophy since joining United in July. He also won the Community Shield in August.

Whether Ibrahimovic was taking a swipe at any specific club is not clear, although his comments may not sit well with Arsenal fans, who went 10 years without a trophy to their name before back-to-back FA Cup wins in 2014 and 2015.

Today [Sunday] is all about the win and getting the trophy, people remember who lifted the trophy and not the one who did a fantastic game, Ibrahimovic said.

We believe in something we are doing and we keep going, we keep training hard, we keep making sacrifices and we are winning.
