Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino would only leave his current club for Napoli, his agent has revealed.
The Italy international has lost his place in the starting line-up at the start of the season, which led to speculations linking him with a January move away from San Siro.
Nocerino has since reclaimed his starting berth and is no longer thinking about leaving the club, according to his representative.
“I don’t think Nocerino will leave,” agent Marco Sommella told Radio CRC. “He has a long contract and he’s just won his place back in the starting eleven.”
The 27-year-old, who was born in Naples, remains a big fan of his boyhood club, hoping to join the Azzurri at one point in the future.

Garry Monk s audition for the role of head coach continues on Saturday as Swansea City host Southampton in the Premier League.
The 35-year-old, who started his career with Southampton, has been in the Liberty Stadium hot seat since the departure of former boss Michael Laudrup in February.
After opening his reign with a morale-boosting 3-0 win in the south Wales derby against Cardiff City, Monk then failed to register a victory in the following nine fixtures in all competitions.
However, a 2-1 win at Newcastle United and a 4-1 triumph over Aston Villa have given Swansea their first back-to-back victories since December 2012 and assured them of their Premier League status for another season with a points tally of 39.

After going to Augsburg, the coach acknowledged my talent and had belief in me, Koo told reporters.

Chelsea are on the right track under Graham Potter, believes Enzo Fernandez, after they sealed a Champions League quarter-final berth against Borussia Dortmund.
Goals for Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz helped overturn a first-leg deficit for the Blues to secure a 2-0 win on Tuesday at Stamford Bridge and a 2-1 aggregate victory across the tie.
After a frustrating few months for Potter that has seen the former Brighton and Hove Albion boss come under mounting pressure, the result marked back-to-back wins for the first time in 2023.
With those improvements in their back pocket, Fernandez feels the club are headed in the right direction under the Englishman, and says they must stay the course with him.
We re going to be staying on this path, and we keep ho…
